Nayshan is a true pioneer with a rich history currently in the process of re-establishing itself as the leading distributor of arms, ammunition and accessories in Kuwait and the Arab Gulf region. Nayshan was established in 1981 in the State of Kuwait as the first distributor and manufacturer of arms and ammunition in the Arabian Gulf region. As a pioneer in its field, Nayshan facilitated the establishment of the shooting ranges at the Equestrian Club, located on the outskirts of Kuwait City and catered to the Equestrian club on an exclusive basis. The business of Nayshan grew firmly establishing it as the leading distributor of branded arms, ammunition and accessories for both the institutional and retail segments.

Nayshan's business was dealt a twin blow in 1990 with the untimely death of the company's founder late Sheikh Faisal Al-Sabah followed shortly thereafter by the Iraqi invasion and subsequent occupation. As a prime target for theft and vandalism during the occupation, Nayshan was entirely destroyed and ransacked, with all stock of arms and ammunition stolen.

The promoter family has recently initiated the mission to rebuild Nayshan and return to its former glory as the leading distributor and manufacturer of equestrian accessories, arms and ammunition. As part of this initiative, Nayshan has already achieved significant progress with a number of previously existing franchise partnerships in the process of getting re-established.
